hello in year 2013!
i came across this post as i was looking for info on these moving star-like objects. i registered just to post that we (my husband & me) are witnessing the same. we live in zagreb, but often observing @ our weekend house in hills (since last summer, but the phenomena continued this year too). though we saw it wherever we go and skygaze, even in the city of zagreb where light pollution is much worse!
i have no need to explain what we saw, it is excatly the same as first post, except without any formations. many of them going south - north or near it, but it's not the rule. i have urge need to find out who/what are they! we would love to find out the truth whatever it is. my husband is bored to look at them anymore, there are so many! he wants them closer smiley

& i also feel the same connection, as they appear on "wish" and say hallo with those tuning/flashing brightness smiley
so i deeply feel they are space neighboughrs, and they are helping us. hope we will meet them someday..
on the other hand it would be reasonable to think that they aren't E.T.'s just because there are so many of them and obviously appear everywhere on globe.

PS. i use mobile app like 24flight radar, 3d satellite, and of course checking heavens-above for iridium flares during those sightseeings.

Greetings from Croatia!

MEIAZRI....ZDRAVO,
I SPENT QUITE A BIT OF TIME RESEARCHING SAID PHENOMENA...TOO MANY EPISODES TO LIST BUT I'LL MENTION A FEW...
IT'S VERY EASY TO GET CAUGHT UP INTO SUCH....THE SEARCH...THE DISCOVERY...THE CONTINUED OBSERVATION...THE CONNECTION...
I RECALL I WAS OUT AT NIGHT ON ONE PARTICULAR OCCASION...HAD A LARGE FLASHLIGHT IN HAND...I HAD AN IMPULSE TO SHINE THE LIGHT ON WHAT APPEARED TO BE A STAR...NOW OUT OF ALL THE STARS IN THE NIGHT SKY...I PICKED THIS...THE INSTANT I FLASHED THE...STAR-LIKE OBJECT...IT IMMEDIATELY BEGAN MOVING IN A NORTHEASTERLY DIRECTION FOR FIVE TO SEVEN SECONDS THEN FADED OUT...I HAVE SEEN THIS SEVERAL TIMES...
THE OLE RULE OF THUMB IS TO "NOT FLASH" CERTAIN OBJECTS...BUT MUCH LIKE YOUR HUSBAND...OBSERVATION WASN'T ENOUGH...
I CAN RECALL QUITE A FEW TIMES WHEREIN OBJECTS DID IN FACT MOVE RIGHT AT ME...THE REALITY OF...UH-OH...VECTOR SEEMS LIKE ITS HEADED TOWARD ME...THEN YOU CONSIDER ...WELL BETTER GO INSIDE THE INTERNAL INQUISITION REALIZES...IF THEY...WHAT EVER SAID OBJECT IS/WAS CAN DO THAT ...WHAT GOOD WILL THAT DO...
IF YOU CONTINUE YOUR PATH OF CURIOSITY...YOU WILL SEE/OBSERVE THE MOMENT A GLIMMER OF FEAR ENTERS YOUR HEAD...THESE OBJECTS STOP...
I'M A.STICKLER FOR OBSERVATIONAL/PATTERN ANALYSIS...THEREFORE I SPENT QUITE A BIT OF TIME DOING WHAT YOUR DOING...
I THOUGHT IT TO BE QUITE COOL...
MY SUGGESTION IS TO...IF YOU CAN...LOCATE A REASONABLE CAMERA.WITH TRIPOD TO DOCUMENT...AS MANY ARE NOT...SENSING THINGS THAT ARE RIGHT OVER THEIR HEAD...
SOME GO THROUGH LIFE AND NEVER SEE THAT...UNKNOWN SKY BASED OBJECT WHICH FOR ALL INTENTS AND PURPOSES...DOESN'T DISPLAY WHAT WE KNOW TO HAVE IN OUR TERRESTRIAL BAG OF KNOWN AERIAL OBJECTS...
WHY DO SOME HAVE ENCOUNTERS AND OTHERS DO NOT...WELL I HAVE MY OWN THOUGHTS THERE...ONE MUST GET PAST THAT "WHY ME" SCENARIO AND RECOGNISE...SOMETIMES IT JUST IS WHAT IT IS...
I WISH YOU LUCK AND LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR POSTING SOME PICTURES OF YOUR ADVENTURE(S)...

SHALOM...ZETAR

Zdravo Zetar,
thank you for your quick reply. smiley
Regarding to the fear episodes, I already had a few, I shouldn't read all this abduction stories shocked
And yes, they started to hide from me, they show but not over our head like they used to.. and much less bright lights and rare or quick flashing. Like, yes it's us, but not in your face.
And I don't have ego in sightseeing and feeling that we are chosen.. I convince everyone just to look but maybe they have to have a strong wish to see. Only one time friends stayed overnight @ our weekend house to skywatch, and then were the most intensive sightseeings ever so they withnessed it too smiley
I have to say that we never ever shot any light at them.
We can't afford the camera :/ We just got binoculars but it's hard to see anything more than without binoculars...
There are some night vision videos on youtube... so it's everywhere, people saw it exactly like we did, sensing "connection" like we are... and nobody knows nothing about them.

Hello All

Ok, last night (7/7/2013) looking westward from Hadleigh Essex towards Basildon, there was a stationary bright light in the sky, it wasn't moving in any direction, it was way brighter than any other normal star, it stayed this bright for about 30 seconds then started to fade.

There was no blinking, just bright then a gradual fade away to nothing, the sky was clear.

15 Minutes later (2330pm) , something shot across the sky towards the same point from southend area and was gone.

Light yellow/red trail.....

20 Minutes after that, a faint white light moves from left to right, again to the vicinity of the 1st ( a few miles distance) its speed was roughly 3 times the speed of a passenger plane, then again gone.

The other month, a white dot moved across the sky from Rayleigh to Kent, again speed was way faster than a passenger plane, may have been a satellite but who knows ? smiley

The whole reason im here is because of satellites i was startled and somewhat disturbed by what i suddenly noticed in the sky about 15 years ago and was very much of the same persuasion of this cant be anything normal why havent i seen it before! just like the guy who opened this thread 5 years ago.
Over the years i have learned they are satellites and they were there a long time before i ever noticed them and also that in the uk they are a lot more visible in the summer months just because of our position in relation to the sun they catch more light.

Its not the outcome i was hoping for when i started seeing these objects but like it or not its true.

I am still yet to see anything definitive after all these years of watching the sky but i will never stop watching and i will never forget the jaw dropping night when i started to see these objects gliding through the sky and what looked like amongst the stars.

I want to see something that will change my mind but after all these years i have seen nothing yet i would jump at the chance if someone said come here i will show you something undeniable as yet it hasnt happened.
I an undeterred but time has formed a conclusion i dont like. embarassed

last night 18th july 2013 at 3.20am clear sky a star like object moving across the back of my house in ashton-under-lyne lancashire uk was followed by another one. these objects do not move like any aircraft, balloons or chinese lanterns, they float, or skip across the sky.it is the third time this year that i have seen these type of objects! they do not move fast or slow as if not to draw attension to themselves, there is no noise and they look like stars through the binoculars

Hi thread starter here back after 5 years
still the night sky is full of these moving star like objects if they are communications satellites we must have more up there then commercial flights which is ridicules.
Sometimes I see shooting star like objects pass these objects many a time too many to be just chance.
Also Ive seen 3 of these objects emerge from one.
There is more then ever in our nights skys keep watching folks.

another moving star object sighted 6th aug 2013 1108pm
laNCASHIRE UK going over the back again! the difference this time is it was the brightest i have seen. moving over the front of the house dimmed down so you could hardly see it, again can not make a shape out. not satellites anyway.

listen guys unless you want the skeptic to have fun ridiculing you then start boxing clever it does not take much, get a good compass so you know the exact direction of the object then note the time and use such as the above to eliminate any future argument the skeptic will throw at you. There are many such applications available and easy to use; I personally do not bother with dots in the sky anymore. I know they are up there zooming around and no doubt so is secret government craft zooming around getting up to no good and I know it is hard to prove , photograph etc so I concentrate on ET coming to ground that way I am more likely to get positive results.

With all respect hyundisonata i sit on my step with a laptop using all the sites you listed above for reference. I have long past worrying about the skeptics.
I also use a site that predicts the position of satellites that will produce reflection of the sun on its solor panels www.heavens-above.com

Besides what satellite aircraft splits into 3.

replying to nufclad147 = i noticed these in 2007 , im wondering if your seeing colors in these same stars NOW at this date?
i see RED in that "lighthouse" lite!
they mimic star positions in constilations and move across the sky with the constilation!

any "REAL" answer yet? after all these years!

Maybe Douglas Trumbull could take a look? I'm new but is there a link to some proof of this?

To mimic a star in a constellation means it is relativly close to the observer. Otherwise it would drift out of position as the stars, or observer, move.

In a dark sky setting an observer can usually see 3 - 4 of these objects at any given time. I have tracked many of them with moderate sized telescopes over the years. They are cool to watch. Some display obvious solar panels. Others are just junk (lots of it) drifting and waiting for gravity to eventually bring it back to where it came from (Earth). Some move across the sky at velocities of 17,500 m.p.h.. Some less, some more. Some are stationary (geosats). Some flash at extremely bright magnitudes like a camera 2 to 3, sometimes 4 times. Others flicker. Some keep the same magnitude. Some are micro-meteoroids.

There have been a few selective times I/we have seen objects that didn't make sense to me/us. I have zero doubts as to alien visitation/observation.

Keep your eyes on the skies. You never know what will appear. It will change your way of thinking once it happens.
