mini - re:"Humans and/or hominid type ETs would be at a loss to visualize the 4th dimension."

i think anything is hard to visualize with no experience. you only see the limits of your rational brain.

have you ever practiced meditation? or is that against your religion, atheism? i think your quest for nuts and bolts is limited to one dimension. oh well, time is just another illusion, right? you can stay forever in one dimension.

and personally, i do take offence at people posting what they have no experience/knowledge about and post on the basis of their prejudice and their arrogance of fascination with their mind mechinations. just for future reference.

Here is another bizarre mode of transportation...

Location. Pine Township, Indiana
Date: January 12 1983 Time: 1630
In a rural area a man and his two sons saw a bright inverted L-shaped object suspended above the edge of a nearby swamp. The dogs became agitated and two of the witnesses ran outside, they then saw a 3-foot tall being holding a bright object floating three feet off the ground. The being appeared to be searching for something. He wore a tight-fitting light gray outfit with a dark gray belt that was ringed with circles, its head was large and hairless, with large staring eyes, a second similar being was also seen floating over a fence, one of the witnesses ran towards it, but stopped when the being gave him a real “weird stare.” This being also heads a luminous L-shaped device. Suddenly both beings began floating very fast towards each other, now a third being appeared from behind a pile of debris and also began floating very fast towards the other two. The beings converged to a spot near a dirt road. All three were real close together when suddenly they changed into a profusion of light and shot away at an angle skywards disappearing into the cloud cover.

gv, u misunderstand me. I just said that if something was from another dimension it would be hard to visualize. I could be wrong b/c I've lived my entire life in the 3rd dimension unless I'm mistaken. Regarding meditation, my father is a Buddhist so I have a great respect for meditation.

mini - i did not misunderstand at all. what you NEGLECT to say in your know-it-all way, is that it would be hard to visualize - FOR YOU -
you cannot make blanket sweeping statements about how others describe their insights and experiences.

sttmts like:"No offence, but I don't think u understand multiple dimensions." what the f* angry how the H*LL do you know what someone understands? YOU DON"T!! -YOU - don't understand. You read a book of some one going on and on - big f'in deal! and you have some concepts or ideas but they are grains of sand in a desert!
Further, you cannot speak for others and tell them something is hard to visualize when you do not know their experience or knowledge base. that IS offensive, in case you haven't noticed. PERIOD! it is juvenile, and condescending. and then to write like you are some all-seeing eye when all you have lived is in 3-d as you said, and i definitely agree with you on that (also stated in my first post to you) from all you have written here. please refrain from sitting on people who express their thoughts from their insight,EXPERIENCE and their opinions. sit on your hands instead please! noone is telling you how ridiculous you are with all the drivel you post, so a little more respect from you and tolerance of things you do not understand is expected - and required. thank you.

Please allow me to jump in again. Almost all of what I express in my postings are based on my own real life personal experiences. I realize that unless people have had similar experiences it is hard to comprehend what I am saying. I've been very fortunate to have had these experiences and have learned a lot from them.

I have seen entities from UFOs, [Angels?], appearing in Human form but their eyes betrayed them. When I looked in their eyes I saw a peacefulness, a calmness, a softness which I have never seen in human eyes. I have seen "them" take animal forms and even insect forms. These were projections to be witnessed by my visual and five senses. [If you will refer to the Bible's many descriptions of Angels appearing as Humans.]

But when these "Beings" appeared to me as color balls of pure energy or as blinding sparks of brilliant white light I did not "see" them with my visual or five senses, I "saw"them with my "third eye" or my psychic vision.
That is why I believe that Humans cannot see Angelic UFO Beings in their true state with their five senses.
As I have stated in earlier postings the appearance of the visitations of Beings from mental or astral Dimensions are directly influenced by the evolutionary and mental and emotional and religious thinking and beliefs of the observers.

What do you think? Irwyn cool

I think I'm more open to the concept then I was before you came to the forum Irwyn. I hope this is progress on my part because I do believe in my slogan below but after years of dismissing UFO religions as claptrap, it's not an easy transition to accept another's unusual experiences as credible proof of other realities. This is what cult leaders do. But I can see it from your side too. It can't be easy convincing people of it either. The story of the giant cat in the tux comes to mind. I think that would have driven me mad. By the way, very good link mini. smiley

Irwyn, that is very interesting the way you are framing the differences from your experience. it leads me to have many thoughts. i wonder if we were "tuned up" a little, as a group, if conditions would be more conducive for them to reveal themselves in the way most comfortable to them; if their very nature, or nature itself can only manifest according to the receiving end -- in other words: is there always a sort of mirroring going on acccording to the experience/capacity/conditions of the receiver? as long as people are closed to the idea, then that is what people will experience also. and inclusive with that would be as one's awareness and consciousness changes, comes all kinds of room for playfullness and exploration. oh, it is an ENDLESS subject of exploration!!! it just fills me with so much longing to get it on -- i am sooo willing to find out - it brings tears to my eyes.

i have experienced the sparks and the balls of light and the consciousness there and it was so intensely beautiful and i was so "at home" -- this has made me want to deepen meditation because they leave when i get too excited or go "off"; part of me resists. it feels like it is all part of who i am and i don't know how we will all have this experience. i think as i feel more and more comfortable, i will push past certain limits that i feel yet there is discomfort in the rigidity there too. that teaches me to work with that and as it opens, a shift occurs and i feel expanded. the result being, i am more open and accepting. i think we (people) are like little buds, closed tightly shut, and the sun is shining and we are wondering if it is safe to open our petals after lifetimes of barely making it to a bud, with maybe a petal or 2 opening up once in awhile. the interesting thing about opening is the bud realizing the relationship with the sun; oneness of how bud and sun being the same - even though different forms. in essence, that is how i feel about your experience; as we become more one with them, that is key to opening, to learning, to EVERYTHING WE EVER WANTED!! FOREVER!! (unedited)
anyway, thank you for your posts. i refer back to them and contemplate them and they have much "food" for thought. I savor your posts and hope you do not give up because of a few detractors. I would miss this connection and be saddend.

HJ, I hope you are able to stay true to your slogan. I am not familiar with ufo religions and am more akin to Irwyn: i have to experience; i am here for the experience. maybe some of us want it more than others - i think i came here for this and only this - that is a stretch from people who believe life is about being the next generation doing what the last did, but i have great pain and discomfort if i ever try to believe i came here to do what everybody has done. not to say that i am not a fully capable conventional person; i am like irwyn in that i feel deeply there is SOOOO much more to share, with each other as humans and our history - we will really become a lot closer when that is revealed - and also SOOOO much to learn from and share with E.T.'s and I.T.'s(inner terrestials, or inner earthlings)

re: easy "convincing" people: consider why would anyone really want to "sell" - if not only to share? Where is the incentive, really? Do you think anyone would come and make up fantastic lies to have people follow? Show me the money, please. Is that person so bankrolled they make this huge investment on the speculation people will one day be convinced and open their wallets and empty them out? that's a stupid speculation for any investor.

re: the big cat: consider Irwyn did not lose his mind; consider the strength of such a mind, what it takes to have an experience like that and not be TOTALLY intimidated. I think to survive one would become much closer to their Creator, the ineffable. Mind you, Irwyn had already had many contacts and "schooling". I firmly believe the Creator/Creation is kind, and does not/CANNOT "give" us anything we are not ready for. Irwyn was ready and tested and passed - and he knew he would and so did all Creation. Doesn't mean it wasn't scary and a "learning" experience. I say all this to share with you how I have "held" this shared experience of Irwyn's.

I read through this and it is interesting. How is space curved by gravity? Nobody really knows how gravity exerts its force. If they did they could negate it. Also what is space, particles, nothing? How do you curve nothing? OK, how do you bend light? It has mass? It`s a wave, a particle? Hmmm...if you bend light, then the light on the outside has to travel faster than the light on the inside...which has a shorter distance to travel...at least to end up at the same point of observation?

Yes it has recently been "discovered" or theorized that light may not travel in a striaght path from there to here as it is bent by the gravitational force exerted by atoms as light passes through them. I sure hope I got this right as it is from distant memory. This would change the distances and the apparent age of the universe. I don't think space is curved by gravity but that they are offsetting forces that hold each other in check. Space is full of all sorts of atoms, molcules, etc. Lots of calcium, carbon, sodium, iron, and such. Think of light as a single photon, there is no inside or outside to its travel, only that which effects its travel and defracts the original emission path. Gravity, such as that which is exerted by black holes, holds space in check while space acts as a buffer against gravities forces upon space bodies as in solar systems , galaxies, etc. Of course this is only my misinformed opinion.

Light or any form of EM radiation has two forms. A quantum packet and a wave form and they exist simultaneously and no one has yet explained this. But there is one theory: we are seeing light from different parallel dimensions and in the one dimension it is wavelike and in the other parallel dimension it is discreet. How can space be curved and what does this have to do with gravity? I have no idea and I don't know enough to say anything worth saying. But it is true that the 3rd dimension consists of infinitely many 2nd dimensions. So why not extend that logic to the 4th? Calculus uses this notion of infinitely many somethings (I hated calculus and have forgotten most of it) and much of our technology has been made posible b/c of calculus. Could there be parallel 3rd dimensions that form a fourth dimension?

These theories are devised in our understanding of the physical relationships we can prove and our understanding of the universe that we can see from our reference point. I'm sure that some day it will be modified as many have with the advent of new and more powerful technologies.

That is a very interesting observation. Suppose the light were bent in the "4th dimension" ...

As for gravity, I don't think that is what curves space. Who knows why space is curved assuming it is curved.

It`s interesting living in mystery! I`m confused about the fourth dimension. Is it the regular 3 plus the extra one? New theories suggest several dimensions...like up to 12 or 13 or something somehow "enfolded". Guess it is time to start reading the physics books again.

Some good thoughts Backlit. If space is curved then it has to begin and end in the same place? If it is curved how could it be infinite?

The 4th dimension would be infinitely many 3rd dimensions. Yep, the number dimensions should go up to infinitely as well therefore the universe would still be infinite even if an individual dimension is curved. Well that's my take on it but it sortta makes sense.
