I should have posted the following email I got from Brad long ago, but I was so bewildered by another incident, at the same spot, that I honestly struggled to believe it...

From: Brad
Subject: Hey Lance
To: orbhunterx@yahoo.com
Date: Friday, May 23, 2008, 1:27 AM

Lance. I need to tell you what happened to me the other night.

This happened early Thursday morning. I'd have to say around 3:30 -3:45.

I was over at JP's because we were catching a midnight showing of Indy 4. So after that we headed back to his house where I stayed for another hour or so before deciding to head back home. It was already late and I was already having trouble keeping my eyes open. So I decided to get home as quick as possible so I took the back road down Copper Canyon.

I turned onto Copper Canyon Road or whatever that road is called around 3:25.

Well I had another mile and a half or two miles to go before I was back on Swisher. After crossing the train tracks (EXACTLY where I saw that creature), my car dies on me. Everything died on me. Then I noticed that the street lamp on the side of the road near that gate had gone out too. I usually keep a flashlight in my in case me and JP decided to go down to Goatman's. So I pulled out my cell phone because any light I could produce to find my flashlight would be a blessing. I pulled it out and not 5 seconds later, my cell phone died. And I had just charged my cell earlier that day so there was a substantial amount of battery life left. I don't spend hours on hours bsing over the phone. So I'm sitting there in complete darkness not knowing whether I should get out of the car and start hiking to a gas station or stay in and fuck around with the icgnition to try and start the car (I don't know jack about cars so I was pretty SOL). I decided to stay in the car and fumble with the icngition and hope maybe someone would pass by and see that I'm sitting in a dead car.

10 minutes into sitting in complete darkness and me cursing like a sailor at my car I suddenly had this random thought pop into my head that didn't belong to me. It said, "Get out." I thought that was really strange so I went on with my swearing. Thirty seconds later I hear it again. "Get out." This went on for about 3 minutes I'd say. I can't say. I didn't have a grasp on how much time went by.

After awhile I started to shake my head whenever "Get out" would pop into my mind. Then all of a sudden it was like someone had just shouted into my ear.

"Step out."

I heard this in my head. "Step out." I responded with a simple no. Then I was bombarded with step out after step out. I was being nagged to death. Then I started having what I guess you could call a panic attack. This was about 20 minutes into the ordeal. Then I had this overwhelming feeling of dread. I'd never had a feeling like that before. It feel onto me like a ton of bricks. I started shaking and broke into a sweat. I was still being attacked with "Step out." I finally had enough and started fumbling with the keys again. After one last step out I shouted out no. Then the engine started. I sat there in disbelief for about 10 seconds then I got the hell out of dodge as fast as possible without driving off that cliff on that curve up ahead on the road.

Needless to say, I will not be going back down that road. No matter how tired I am.

I told JP about it and he was in disbelief. I'm still trying to register what happened. There was no missing time either. I was fully wide awake after awhile sitting in the dark trying to start my damn car so I was fully aware. The time was 3:48 when I hit Swisher and was on my way home."

Brad's away for the summer, so I've not interviewed or further investigated this latest event. When I do, I'll post a summary of his restatement.

And here is a message I received from Brad...

"Hey Lance it's Brad.

Sorry I haven't been in touch. I've been in Louisiana for the past two months with my girlfriend. I just now got around to looking at my 232 unread email messages and this one caught my attention. I honestly can say I am shocked about there being another sighting of the creature. Everything since january has died down so I wasn't expecting anything to pop up.

Not to mention JP or myself have really launched an investigation into beyond his sketchings and the few times we went out to the location. Anyways. I get back in town Aug 2nd, tomorrow. I've been wanting to go back out there for awhile. Actually I have an interesting story.

My girlfriend first came here back in June before I went back with her to Louisiana. We'd been over at Jp's house and it was getting late. I can't put in a timeframe because there's been such a gap between then and now but I'll ballpark it and say between 11:30 PM and 1:30 AM. We were driving home and I was low on gas and I didn't want to take XX back home.

Copper Canyon is a much shorter route and I didn't want to end up stranded on the side of the interstate since I was running on fumes. So I sucked it up and drove down Copper Canyon. The minute I turned onto that road my insides started burning and my girlfriend Lizzie could tell I was physically and mentally upset.

(Just as a note I told here everything that happened to me back in January but she doesn't believe in extraterristrials so she passes it off as paranoia or whatever)

When I get to the traintracks where all that shit happened I freeze up and stop the car because I can't move. I physically couldn't move. Something was keeping me from stepping on the gas. I start tearing up and bawling because I'm scared shitless and all the while I get that feeling we were being watched and Lizzie's in the passenger seat telling me I'm being silly.

I finally am able to drive off after about 30 seconds of crying like a baby. Thankfully we reached home safe and sound. My question is, if this was an alien encounter, why do I still feel its presence at the spot when drive by, even during the day. Or if it wasn't an alien, then what.

I'd love to blow this thing wide open but I just can't see that happening anytime soon what with virtually no evidence except for personal evidence unless we bring a camcorder down there in the middle of the night and one of these things pops out and lets us record it."

Greetings Lance!

I cannot imagine the feeling Brad re-lived. You can't untill you have! As for me and my sighting of a creature in the Nevada dessert, I wonder how I would feel if I drove thru there again. And repeating again, what a shock and strange feeling when I saw the sketch
you sent of the same creature to C2C. And so glad you did.

Blessings!

Thanks!

I'm working really hard to get hold of the more detailed, closer perspective illustration JP drew. As I previously mentioned, it will knock your socks off. Personally, I sat in silence for some time as I stared at the later attempt to truly capture the essence of the creature.

When Brad get's back in town, I will try to make a more fruitful effort to finally get a copy of it. Seeing that should instantly tell the tale on whether true correlation of various encounters has begun.

Howdy Lance!

Maybe this is not where I should post this. Have u ever heard L A Marzulli when he is on C2C. I think his theory of ETs being something to do with the Fallen Angelsis interesting. Maybe part of the antics have something to do with the deceiver. Does this sound like a good subject to start another section and wherever it should be?

b. j.

and the other skectches sound very intriging.

And my son had a heck of a sighting just over our house about 2 months ago. Keep reminding him he needs to post it on the csebook website and he did some really good sketches.

Hi,

I've heard him and his concepts. I also contemplate the spiritual aspect of these beings. However, I'm loathe to judge others, no matter where they might be from, unless I know the whole situation in a real way.

Being more shamanic in my world(s) view, I think all inanimate and living things are wonderfully created by the Divine. Choosing life affirming directions for ourselves, and serving others, clearly is one side of the equation. Yet, those working against that to me are in an illusion they're not connected with the source that brought all things into being.

To address the point though, I don't have near enough evidence to determine for certain who's good or not. The degree of contact with these beings seems geared toward granting us just a heads up that they're present. Perhaps when we put aside our fears long enough, a mutual, meaningful dialog will manifest.

Let's hope so, but only time will tell.

Greetings dollface- WOW !!!!! That was awesome!

It is such an alone in the world- horrible feeling to have wittnessed something so traumatic and we do not even know who to call or where to start looking. I was ecstatic when Lance posted the sketch of the copper canyon creature! It was exactly like the dude running along side my car. Well, I assume you read my posting!
I cannot imagine how that person felt- alone,in the woods, seeing this whatever hovering over the pond. Sure sounds like the crossways to and from other dimensions are really opening. I sure do not want to end up on the other side!

It has really been a good thing for me to find this website and have been able to talk about different experiences.
