I actually hadn't read your encounter story until just now - wow - that would make you change your religion!!! I could relate a little with what somebody posted after seeing something like that - there's definitely no more denial. In a way, I could see how that would bring some relief and in another way, I don't know if I could grasp it without losing sanity. I see strange things where I live on the lake and that was actually why I was surfing anything to do with water - but I often talk in my head when I see these things and tell them "I'll leave you alone, but you gotta leave me alone b/c I couldn't handle seeing you outright." I feel crazy giving out this info or even having conversations in my head, but it's the truth. Oh, I wanted to ask, you said something in another post about your son seeing something in Houston a few months back - I was just wondering b/c I had my first encounter and reported it to Mufon on 6/11 and/or 6/12/08 and I recall when I did make the report I noticed that there were several all over Texas, there were two I think in Houston, one in San Antonio and Austin and then me, and the crazy part is that they were all in a timeline - they actually made a path. Just curious. I found someone in San Antonio, Mario Vhuh somebody (he always has videos posted periodically) who actually posted a video of exactly what I saw on that exact evening 6/11 - 6/12/08.

Hello!

It pleases me to no end to finally be able to post the following image. As I mentioned before, this is the second illustration of the Creature of Copper Canyon. JP, the graphic artist involved, drew this perspective shot of the being during extensive discussions with the witness, Brad...

The first artistic take on this species was evocative enough, however this improved drawing absolutely rivited me to my seat when I first saw it. Believe it or not, I was speechless as I tried processing this.

Well, the thing is they look serious enough. However, to date I have never heard of this type of being involved in any hostile act. I'd recommend practicing a calm, opened handed approach since they seem to at least in part be allowing some people to see them closely.

Sadly, they actually be far more "friendly" then your typical grey, yet our impulses to lash out in fear of the unknown could make for a very difficult road to mutual dialog. We can only hope that when and if real sit down discussions with them and us takes place, and they should, we can rise to the occasion!

Peace,

Greetings Dollface!

Yep! It is all awesome and fascinating! Other dimensions are becoming more accessible! Well, that is my belief system! And I really can't get a grasp on someone thinking ( in relation to religion) if there are different looking creatures other than we humans, why that would have anything to do with dumping religion? But I hear you and know what you mean. I totally beleive God has created all! Not just Humans.

So---- I'm not trying to be nosy, but where is Flint, Tx? I'm a native Texan, but there are a lot of places I have never heard of. That's lame isn't it?

Back to religion. That's organized religion. Teaching it is just earth, just us Humans. The only intelligent life. That puts limits on what unbelieveable things Spirit can do. Or has done. I follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, and he wouldn't discriminate. It's people that do.I don't refer to myself as a Christian, but I refer to myself as a seeker.

The great mysteries. I wonder if Ufos, UHOs. The reasons . So fascinating. And this web site is so awesome! To be able to talk about happenings such as this. Persons like Lance, George Noory. Do you listen to C2C? If you don't, you need to try. At least everynow and then. I know when you work, it is almost next to impossible to listen to a nite radio program.

I know one thing for sure, I gotta start watching the skies more. Living in the big city. Sitting in my garden, not much of the sky is accessible, because of the trees and buildings.

Yeah, Mario Valejo . He sure sees alot of things.
And they are probally hanging over Houston. I would say,99 and 3/4 's of people do not even look up. The huge ship that my son saw hanging over our house, as for as we know, no one else saw it. And perhaps no else was suppose to see it but him.

Keep on postong Dollface. Watch the skies!

Hi there Witcheyred - So, were you able to recall when your son saw it? Not that it matters, I guess. Anyways, yeah, our belief system is similar - nothing will make me falter in my views on God - not anymore anyways, I've come to an understanding and it's my own. Jesus, I do believe but don't agree with the typical opinion of him dying for our sins. I personally think he lived as an example to us and to let us know dying in the physical sense is nothing to fear. Another member on here shared her view that struck a chord and I'll share....We are created in God's image.....what if it's literal....what if we are part of God's system....what if when we are killing our planet - we are killing God, like cancer or something? I don't know - who does - but it made me think a little different about taking care of myself and taking responsibility for the environment - and that can't be bad, right? Flint is a little city between Palestine and Tyler....it's far, but not too far from Dallas area. My friends and I have this discussion all the time - is it the chicken or the egg that came first? You know - is it once you have an experience, you keep having more OR is it once you have the experience, you are more aware and pay more attention and they've been there all along? Although, with your experience, it sounds like it sought you out and said "hello!". No, I don't listen to Noory - I usually listen to podcasts throughout the day. My husband is ANTI-extraterrestrial talk - he's in complete denial and actually gets very mad when I bring anything to his attention, so when he's home and awake - it's leave it to Beaver. He used to not be that way, he'd watch shows on cable with me - but I think he can't make sense of some things he's seen and it's better for him to convince himself it's something explainable. In a way it's hard b/c it's consuming once you start paying attention and see things constantly and in another way, I do need to feel normal like I did before I knew all this existed.

Fellow Researchers,

If you've visited http://www.coasttocoastam.com recently, you may have seen and read the breaking news, I'm posting here in more depth.

Firstly, I'm the founder of the Denton Area Paranormal Society (DAPS) http://www.dapsghost.com. Fellow DAPS investigators, Bob and Todd (names changed to protect their identity), came forward at our meeting on February 19th with a mind-blowing story.

What follows is a recounting of what befell Bob on a fateful date this past January...

Having caught a late night movie at a theater in the area, Bob dropped off his friend, Todd, before heading home. With the soaring price of gas, Bob decided to take a deserted country road back to his place, which served as a shortcut. Around 2:00AM in the early morning of Jan 21st, Bob drove East on Copper Canyon Rd. Driving over a railroad crossing, at a sharp bend in the road, something otherworldly suddenly appeared from behind a tree to his left!

User Image

The photo above was taken of the illustration Todd drew, after Bob reported to him that he'd seen an "alien" in late January.

Slamming on his brakes, Bob was stunned as a thin, gaunt, hairless, long arm, long legged creature, suddenly was caught in the high beams of his headlights. Less than 20 feet away, this weird, 5 foot tall, slumped forward, long fingered entity darted smoothly across the road, alarmingly in 2 seconds flat! However, the real shocker came when it stopped under the yellow light of a streetlamp looming overhead, then turned, glancing in his direction!

Like the eyes of a cat, yellow light reflected back at Bob as he tried fighting off the fear of the unknown. A riot of conflicting emotions and questions flooded over him. What the hell was it? What was it going to do?

Even as all this began welling up, he stared wide-eyed and shaken, as the unexplained nocturnal visitor silently turned and resumed fast, gracefully sliding strides, thankfully away to his right. Bob's mind whirled as he watched it quickly squeeze through the partially open gate of a driveway. Within moments, while Bob's lungs finally filled with short, agitated breaths, the thing vanished into a line of woods on the far side of a field to the SE.

It was so difficult for Bob to come to terms, let alone grasp, what to do after seeing something so profoundly peculiar, at such point blank range. In an absolute state of shock, the rest of his drive home was a blur. Closing and locking the door firmly behind him, the true nature of reality wrestled with everything he had personally ever known. Therefore, it was only natural that he refrained from openly sharing what had happened, fearful people would think him crazy.

Eventually though, he told his friend, Todd, days later. Being something of a hand as a graphic artist, Todd worked extensively with Bob to successfully reproduce the detailed illustration of the being I've termed, the Creature of Copper Canyon.

If all this wasn't already amazing enough, earlier that very evening, around the stroke of midnight, Mary and I witnessed a glowing, amber colored, chevron shaped object zooming through the sky. The UFO appeared to only be about 1000 feet up, and moved like a stone skipping across the surface of the water. Looking up through our car's wind shield, we watched the flying object travel SE down McKinney Rd, for the approximate 2 seconds it was visible.

User Image

The picture of the UFO above was taken by Charles Miller, in North Carolina, in 2007; found posted on http://www.ufo-reports.com

I've included it due to the striking similarity between it and the one my wife and I briefly saw on January 20th, 2008.

Remarkably, Tuesday, February 26th, Bob phoned, saying he had found the ticket stub, I'd asked him to look for, from the movie he had seen the night of his incident. Our mutual exclamations of surprise must have reverberated for miles, as nagging suspicion became instant realization. The UFO we had seen had taken place a couple of hours removed from Bob's sighting of the Creature of Copper Canyon!

For our part, I filed an official report of the UFO sighting with MUFON on January 21st, which can be viewed and verified as a case file at the site - http://www.mufon.com.

Through getting the image and story out into the arena of public opinion, which has begun by appearing on http://www.coasttocoastam.com, we're hopeful that our observations and ongoing research into this bizarre chain of events, may engender others to come forward and share what they know.

Thank You,
Lance, Founder

I think I am getting kind of weirded out. And it could be because the veil is thinning and All Hallows Eve becomes closer every moment.

Blessings Everyone and Lance!

Ahoy!

Hard to believe it's been a little over a year since the being here in North Texas was sighted.

Since then, there have been other sightings, yet the almost all of the experiencers largely have not reported their own encounters.

The frustratation of investigating the unexplained are mainly two-fold:

1)Incident non-repeatability

2)Experiencer failure to report.

Hearing of 3rd hand accounts, where nothing more can be investigated, is like a ghost flitting about at the fringes of awareness, a taste of something you can't sink teeth into.

Hopefully, those with their own real tales to tell will find this or other places to let others know.

Ciao,
Lance

I've been told of several more night-time sightings of these sort of creatures.

However, I await the 1st hand accounts and any documentation made.

As is my intention, when I gleen further details I will post them here.

If you know an experiencer please have them email me.

Thanks!

At approximately 2am on a very wet Friday 13 November, my son took the torch to see his girlfriend back to her car, avoiding the puddles on the 50 yards of dirt track to the start of the single track road that leads to where we live and where his girlfriend had left her car.

My son (who never appears scared by anything) came dashing back breathless into the house, and said he had just seen something that scared the s**t out of him. I asked him what it was, he said I only saw it for a second but when we got to the road I lifted the torch beam from the puddles to the road ahead and standing 15 yards ahead was a thin white figure about 7ft tall, which after a second just disappeared. He asked her 'did you see that' she said sorry but she was looking for puddles. He said he saw his girlfriend drive off then 'legged it back home flat out'. I asked him if there were any other features he could remember, he said 'long arms, look I may have only have seen it for a second but I know what I saw'.

I already had this forum open on my PC, so I located this thread and went to the drawing in Reply #77, and said 'anything like this'? He looked at it and said 'thats what I saw'.

Yep!

Sounds similar to be sure.

Let's hope more post thier own sightings.

I did talk with a Native American woman that told me the Copper Canyon area is ripe with strange disappearance of animals, and lots of other weird phenomena, too.

She also saw a UFO fly low over there back in July of 2006.

I'm awaiting her to tell me more, but the fear in her voice and manner regarding the ETs subject pointed toward classic abduction.
