To Karen, this is my psychic reply to your posting regarding owls and beings in the shining suits.

It is interesting that American Indian medicine men many times wore some article from an owl. The owl was believed to have supernatural powers. Also, it is common knowledge that owls are the symbol of wisdom. I believe you were given a preview from the UFOs of the UFOs exodus that is scheduled to take place between 2010 and 2012. At that time, "the sheep will be separated from the goats". The "goats" refers to those souls who have attachment to earthly things. They will be reincarnated on earth as a new cycle of "hybrids".
The "sheep" refers to those souls who have graduated from the Karmic school of physical reincarnation and who are ready to be raised to angelic level.

What do you think? Irwyn cool

Owls are also a symbol for death as well as wisdom. This however I believe to be a spiritual death that requires wisdom.

I believe in my soul that i was shown some sort of Exodus. I also go with ATO, I know that after my experience in 1990, I died to an old spiritual self and became enlightened in some sort of strange fashion. Let me tell you all an experience with an owl that was very strange.

In 1991,I was out riding with a very dear and close cousin of mine. He's a lot like me and we both have had our unusual experiences. He's a Methodist Minister now and tries to work some of his own experiences into his sermons.

Anyway, we were just out riding and we saw something in the middle of the road. We stopped, got out and checked it out. It was an owl. A large one. For some reason we picked it up and put it in the back seat of the car. We really had no clue as to why we did this. We're not into picking up road kill, no matter what you hear about us Mississippi folks! LOL.

So we're riding down the road with a dead owl in the back seat. Great! We even discussed as to why we picked the thing up! It wasn't long before our dead friend had a miraculous resurrection! I was driving and noticed movement in the rear view mirror. I looked and saw that our friend was very much alive and sitting there on the back seat glaring at us.

I told my cousin to turn around and look. He did so and then told me that we had better pull over. While owls may be beautiful to behold, a full grown horned owl was nothing to mess with in an enclosed vehicle. I pulled over and we both got out . We left the doors open, hoping the owl would make his exit. That owl just sat there and stared at us in that weird owl way. I know that it must have been stunned and it was probably trying to get its act together. At least that's what most people would say. But this thing didn't look stunned, dazed confused or even ruffled. In fact, it looked like any healthy owl you might see, sitting on the back seat of a car.

Finally, the owl decided to make his exit. He hopped over to the open door, gave us both a long look and then flew away. No wobble, no waver, just flew away as pretty as you please. My cousin and I stood by that car for a long time. We just didn't know what to say.

Later we discussed all this and especially the fact that on the way home we both felt like we were in a fog. I don't know what it was all about. That's why I am here at this site. I want in-put on my experiences, as I'll do my best to comment on things that I might have insight into. To this day, my cousin believes that the owl we picked was not exactly natural. I tend to agree with him.

So here's the real hot question here. Why on earth would we pick up what we believed to be a dead owl? In our part of the country, road kill is pretty common. I've never stopped to pick up dead things before or after. Or what I thought was dead. Maybe it was just an old regular type owl, but he sure scared me.

Possibly because you were 'prompted' by another who wanted you to pick up the owl for some unknown reason. They don't want you to forget about the owl. That much we know.

My cousin and Iwonder to this day, if we were not in the thrall of an ET. We were so foggy headed after the whole deal and even my husband has to admit that picking up a dead bird in the middle of the road is kind of strange. In fact he really got frightened over the story and he's pretty tough. I asked him what he was so frightened of and he told me that the whole thing just sounded eerie. He also thought that it seemed out of place and had some sort of meaning there. And thisis from a man that even though has had a ufo sighting with me is very careful in his speculations

Owls have been the subject of much misunderstanding, superstition, and fancy. Over the centuries people have used owls to represent everything from evil, dark side to knowledge and wisdom. The wise, old owl is the most popular connotation today. People are starting to wise up too and realize the benefits of owls.

Owls and Man
People have traditionally associated owls with the unknown. Seen at night, owls present a foreboding image with their large eyes on a human-like face staring from the darkness. Owls frequently symbolized death in ancient folklore. In some North American Indian cultures, death is referred to as "crossing the owl's bridge".

Its's amazing how reading something that someone else has posted and it triggers a memory.

When I was younger, probably around preteen age 10-12, and living in northern Iowa. My father and I had a run in with an owl in the backyard. It didn't seem that the bird was all that worried of or presence. As I remember the thing was huge and don't think I have seen another bird that size since. I think my father thought it might have been injured or stunned, it just stood there looking at us. My father sent me inside, even though I didn't feel threatened by it and I was a good ways away from it anyway.
The strange part is I don't remember my father ever say what happened to that owl. Did he shoe it away or just check it over to make sure it was ok and leave it alone!? I just don't know! I don't remember being curious about it either... Now a young boy would naturally be very curious! I don't remember asking a single word about that owl! I was a boy scout and very connected with nature, so this doesn't make sense to me.
One thing I know is sometime real soon I'm gonna have to call up my father and ask him about it!

Thanks for the memory!

Hello BoyFromTheDwarf :-)

Wow! That’s strange you should mention the owl because owls have been a part of the Alien phenomenon. Many abductees report having what are called “screen memories” in which they don’t actually remember aliens, but they do remember things like owls. Other people have screen memories of something appearing like a rabid dog.

This could be something the alien uses to mask what they really are, or to confuse an abductee into thinking he wasn’t actually abducted but saw an owl(s) OR it could be the subconscious protecting the self by inserting a masking device such as an owl or dog to repress traumatic event such as an abduction. As aliens have the ability to shapeshift, some people have even seen loved ones but in back of the image they could see an alien.

So it could’ve very well been an alien you and your dad saw. I know when family members experience these kinds of things(including abduction) many times strangely enough they won’t discuss the incident after the event. So your not bringing up the owl again is understandable.

On the continuing owl story. Symbols play a very important in communication. In dream analysis, for instance, whoever or whatever you see in your dream has many meanings. What we must consider are the special qualities of each symbol. The owl has the ability to see in the dark and can turn his head to almost see all around itself. This translates as a creature which can see things that we cannot see, The owl is also considered as wise. All of these qualities represent angels or UFOs.
Many cultures attach great importance to animal or bird symbols. For instance, the Chinese believe that if a Raven appears at your window, it is the omen of impending disaster.
The owl is given to you as a symbol that you are always being "watched" and developed and guided by beings who are wise and powerfull and who can see and understand things that we cannot. Do not be afraid. Be happy that you have this "higher worlds" connection.

Hi all, At the suggestion of someone, I started a thread on the owl topic. It in the angels, UFOs, physics topic. I'll post the URL at the end of this post. This is such a huge site that I have to use URLs and a roadmap just to get around here! LOL! But its great here.

BFDs experience is interesting in that he had forgotten about the experience until he read the posts here. I had forgotten about my own experience until I happen to hear an owl in daylight yesterday. Its pretty unusual for them to hoot in the day-light.

Ashiana, I've read about screen memories too. In fact in one of my UFO sightings posts, I believe that a dog in the story might not have been what it seemed. Just a strong feeling about that.

In the new thread, I related a story my husband told me about he and a friend seeing a huge, strange owl that really gave him a scare. He's not one to talk much about a lot of things but this experience really shook him up.

TT, I wonder what it might mean if an owl appeared at your window. After my husband's owl experience, he was sitting by the window one night and heard something outside. He pulled the curtain back and there was a small screech owl on the windowsill staring back at him. He said he jumped up screaming as it startled him very bad.

that is so weird about the owls, ive read many people experience seeing owls or wolves . ive been an abductee since before 5 yrs old, but never have i ever had any odd feelings when ive seen an owl, then again i usually see owls only in cages such as in zoos or such. I have seen a few , during my lifetime in trees, not many, since we live in town, but again, never have had any odd feelings either favorable or nonfavorable. theyre just birds to me. nothing special. then again show me a mouse and i'll holler like youve never heard a woman hollering before, and also spiders , ive had this HUGE fear of spiders all my life. It wasnt till a few years ago, that i forced myself to overcome that fear, and can Now proudly say i can kill a spider without fear. but ohhh wow, i was the type that even when my mother , while i was growing up, or my hubby , would say i killed it, its ok, and i was the type that would say SHOW ME THE BODY! shocked

My strange animal fears are of course spiders, but that was due to being bitten in New Orleans once. The other really strange fear I remember from childhood was a praying mantis. I remember seeing one when my cousins had me playing hide and seek. I never found where they were hiding but while hunting Iencountered a large mantis. I don't remember what happened next but that I got from outside to inside at some point and was hysterical. For many years, I was terrified of praying mantises. A few years ago, I started allowing baby ones to crawl on my hand. Big accomplishment for me. I had another unusual animal contact when I worked for a welfare dept in central Louisiana. I was out doing home visits and got lost. I was stopped out in the country area looking at a map when I became aware of something just outside the window of the car. It was a black cat. I don't make a habit of getting out of my car to per cats that I don't know, but was absolutely drawn to go and get close tot this black cat. I was walking towards it when I suddenly realized I felt very afraid. This young black cat was making growling noises that I have never heard a domestic cat make before. I ran back to my car and sped away. I don't even remember how long I was there, but it was very out of character for me to stop the car and get out to go to a stray cat to begin with.
Just a couple of those strange memories I have.
They could be meaningless incidents, but I don't have the answers.
This discussion also triggered my memories.
