This may be old hat around here. In case it isn't, I did find this a very interesting read. I could not imagine living there....

That was an interesting read. A bizarre situation for that family after all these years. But I would take the money and run.....even if they think it's worth more , 5.2 million is a lot of cash for an old mine that's worked out in the middle of nowhere.

What an interesting story! The juxtaposition of unknown elements and the old idea of the big guy taking advantage of their small neighbors is as old as time. Take the money! I think it is in everyones best interest to always be cautious... there is far to much information available to try and evade of fight such a huge secretive entity.

Welcome Raptor..The big guys make the law..and eminent domain. Is just one tool.that a state can use on behalf of corporations disguised as good of the many...just like inventors need a large corporation to sponsor or the invention is gobbled up by the Sharks..they need a good sponsor..with money to burn..I c your'e from Nevada, all the solar panel owners just got a rude awakening from the states PUC on net metering and drove out a solar producer. .Unless these people crowd source millions..they are pissing up a rope.
