Hello,

Just looking for footage if anyone else saw the craft floating over Kitchener the Night of July 14th at approx. 9:17PM.

Others saw the same object in brantford an hour later. (approx. 10:20 PM)

I tried to video tape the object but for reasons unknown, it wouldn't show up on the camera, but I could see it as plan as day with my eyes.

From what I saw it was a craft about the size of a helicopter cockpit, Black with a redish glow on the bottom, it was gliding (more of floating) very slowing in a straight line and was making no noise (it was rather eerrie.) If anyone captured it on video I would be very interested to see it (just to make sure I'm not losing my mind LOL)

Thank you

It wasn't one of those freaking lanterns was it? Or the many homemade renditions people have come up with like them? Those things tend to look something along these lines. And once people got the idea........... well, obvious, is it not?

If not, do you have more details? You may think not, but people always do if they wrack their brain. Our subconscious stores much more than we realize.

By the way, Kitchener where?

If it was a freaky lantern It was a big one, Kinda like my first thought of maybe it was a balloon, however it didn't float like a balloon, it was very steady and straight with it's path. It was hard to determine it's size, as from the distance it was at I fould it slightly bigger than a helicopter cockpit, I was actually waiting for it to turn so that I could maybe see the tail of a helicopter, but that wasn't the case and the direction it was going I would have saw the tail at that time if it was a helicopter. The whole experience was a shock as it was certainly the last thing I expected to see that day. the only real thing that kept me sane was the fact that 2 others saw it once I pointed it out. I was always a UFO believer, but never thought I would actually see one. The area was the williamsburg area in Kitchener, Ontario(up by bleams and fisher-hallman)

Just concept pictures mind you:

https://www.google.com/search?q=high+altitude+airship&hl=en&prmd=imvns&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=23sIUKiKIYzQqwH_8InNBA&sqi=2&ved=0CFMQsAQ&biw=1271&bih=529

Since you mentioned balloon, I thought maybe it is pertinent to point out that a new interest in the airship is very strong these days? Always go after the most likely possibility first, correct?

If you saw something of this nature, it only indicates a good eye. Not that you are crazy, like you asked in your first post. Search for high altitude airship, stealth blimp, or similar. This would be a good place to start. If you rule that out, then you can go for something more exotic.

It was more the shape of this one featured in this news article from 2008:

http://www.topnews.in/150-ufo-sightings-uk-2008-258105

But the object I saw was much farther away in comparison to what the picture shows but the shape was similiar.

I just loaded up the video I took from my phone and it shows in very small blips then disappears on the video, very hard to see, only noticed it when I went 200X on the size. (keep in mind while I was recording it was visible plan as day.)

Know of any good apps that would isolate the frames and/or zoom in even further? smiley

Sorry. Pixelation will render any further enlarging useless 90% of the time. I do see how even though that image looked like a classic saucer at first glance, it's actually ambiguous. I'm afraid you have your work cut out for you. It's very hard to determine what you saw with such a distant object.

To make matters worse, you were very close in flight time to Wright Patterson AFB. All bets are off regarding anything you might have seen if it came out of that place.
