Classic Sys! laugh I'm picking some of that up when I go shopping. I think I saw it next to the head cheese. Sure beats the Boar's Head brand that's has been trying to be marketed lately.
I added a few more to your pic because one can never have enough bologna in life. grin

And to think this topic started with beep, beep, beep ... and a news flash about a flying trash can.

Yes started indeed and keeps on ticking. This gives it a bigger spot on the internet, which can't be all bad or can it.

@ IC Spoken like a true Marketeer at heart and a good one! you know how to take the long view. some don't have patience. The Japanese approach which is aplanning cycle of several years , usually ten, combined with the a personal touch like the Remington electric razor where the company owner does it himself, (with good writers and other graphics/audio/visual help I'm sure) is a very cost effective way of making things mainstream. Gives it that we have a personal stake in this together..as opposed to looking at a ordinary razor with no connection to real people or commitment to excellence...good strategy to offset lower priced competitors as well. Thats why Toyota survived this last debacle..The head cheese came out and took control.
All great companies understand failure ..justifiable failures that can be explained are ok and a learning tool..The ones that can't be explained are your True fail.
I can see those little lights blinking in your head now going blink blink blink.

@ Ketter lol looks like a fruit- gift basket.!!.and holidays are coming up.. not only that the population here is getting older and going to nursing homes , and all kinds of places and traveling cruises too.Why..imagine the nice gifts these would make and the happy smiles of gratitude and appreciation when one of these comes delivered to their rooms.with some gourmet crackers and a little jar of Grey Pupon! No hard fruit..you know the chewing problems at those ages..maybe apple sauce and orange marmalades, things with long shelf lifes! The devil is in the little details so we better tell Isaac he can't forget those.

Delivering a good line of Baloney , especially when belated , comes in handy when you miss someones anniversary or date. right Boys? grin

Seems to me we have some unanticipated revenue streams here.

@Double..I saw that ..it was great ..also watch out for the tall blonde with long legs who looks like Sharon Stone with excessive cleavage working the Black Jack tables (its a deliberate distraction ) . shocked.

Some old film footage of a woman materializing a drone. Probably not real undecided but reminds me of the good ole days when people were analyzing the drones and their shadows, etc. with animations. A good example of mind 3D projection using OEM ectoplasm.

Wow Katt That is Kewl!! I remember when I worked for a franchise of IBM and we also sold Macs and HP was just making printers and the laserjet first came out. Desktop publishing finally came into its own What was in the realm of companies and publishers gushed out to the masses. Thats a lot of power going to a creative individual.
It can also be like a loaded gun in the wrong hands. Nothing we can do either.
I remember my manager putting Samsungs together and selling on side because the IBM and Compaqs had dismal sales.
I can't wait for a nice inexpensive all in one intuitive app that does video editing and composting and audio as well as the wp part ..prob already is .I know Adobe has a slew but they seem difficult

The Gimp packages are a little awkward too but handy and free. I put the above together with Open Office...my Microsoft license expired. Dang the opensource stuff is good.

Speaking of Adobe..I bet photo shop got more free advertisement in Caret than anyone can count..Looks like anytime something questionable comes up. anywhere in fact someone will say It was photoshopped. comes up thats a real coup for a product.
Corel, Bryce, 3dMax, and Poser wish they were that lucky, I'm sure.

But I digress ,,I love those old Black and Whites Thanx for that Katt. If Raddii were here lol I can imagine what he would come up with..His Ad making was excellent and had terrific humor too.He did the Drone Moonpie in the art section..some of this stuff i see belongs there too..great stuff...and God Don't set Marv off..His stuff is lethal to hoaxes!..hmm nice warning label for ufocasebook ATS and others..
Attention all ye who enter here

Actually if the drone is promoted, even in humor, it still is promoted and its life continues. Humor has its uses and teaches what may be require in the future. Now this should be food for more humor and more droning elements on the INTERNET. Please continue.

You've been posting about the NEXT BIG THING for a long time. Just what exactly was the PRIOR BIG THING so I don't confuse them?

I edited my previous post so you would not get confused. Though confusion is often an element of humor. Many a true thing is said in jest and a jester was and is always necessary.

Removal was not necessary, damage was done. I am glad people find this topic educational. So do I.

On a side note - you had mentioned you may show some of the posters you've done in the past. What happened?

Since I have to come to this site by an alternate route, I can not bring in images. You see technically I am banned from this site.

They are not fools IC, you would be unable to post now.
Even so, I am sure the PTB here under the circumstances may allow a waiver rather than miss such an opportunity, and could reinvoke it if they felt you were yanking their chimes. Still I just don't see why you cant create a photobucket account to current nick and post..only takes a few minutes.
I believe you had a point in the confusion and that generally comes from having a bad day, bad delivery of punchline, etc, in cases of advertising, misjudging the target audience or market. Like telling a British cricket joke before an American baseball audience..

Some things are beyond our control..
Like us crazy people here..with either unanticipated skills or talent..or both..to ask the right inconvenient questions.
I don't envy the the poor Jester when he failed to deliver a good one before the King and may have to spend a day with the Iron Maiden.(An exaggeration of course)..though there is the story of some young Arabian concubine who had to keep her master happy with her stories for a thousand and one nights..to stay alive. I hope that's not your dilemma..and you need not fear ridicule..no one has a monopoly on humor nor art nor can predict its staying or swaying power.

A peek at your next big thing or even idea..is most welcome and you can get valuable feedback. We are not haters IC and neither are you I hope..we've seen the propaganda work of those all through history. That's another thread by itself.

And too be fair here..maybe just maybe ..you are ahead of your time.

I'm bummed out. I was watching This Planet Earth getting all exicted about the Interociter and all the parts that went into it. They even had that book with pages made out of some strange metal. There's discussion as to where to begin and Dr. Meacham takes his pencil and zero's in on the starting point on this schematic. I'm thinking to myself "this is the mother load", this has to be the inspiration for the LAP, I'm feeling like the kid wanting the BB Gun from Christmas Story. I screen capture and this is what I find! embarassed

I know I've seen that tube and those straight lines someplace.

Good catch there, Katt. I just figured it was a flux capacitor and didn't think anything of it.
