xx Light in the sky

Hi, I am from Czech Republic and we don't have too much forums, so i want find out help there.
I took a pic of sunset and when i looked at the picture i saw a light in the sky. It' was about 5sec when i looked back on sky - NO light.
What do you thing about it?

Any time a picture is taken looking into a bright object (sun in this case) there is always the potential of a lens flare or other optical artifact. Also, since you did not see the object by your own eyes unaided by the camera it tends to support a camera artifact. Based on this and no other things to go on, my opinion is a lens flare. The shape of the artifact is similar to the shape to the burn out area of the sun (perhaps inverted). I would not consider this a UFO. My suggestion is to do some research on lens flare. There are lots of examples on the internet.

The sun forms a semicircle as it shines through the woods and the artifact is of the same shape, so the cause really leads to a strong source of light even though one would expect to see a full circle, like here:

The effect where the sun seems to set in front of the trees is fun too. Go and experiment if the UFO-like image shows up again. Take also a pic when the sun is just above the treeline.
