For Public Release:

This photograph was forwarded by persons who wish to remain anonymous in order to ensure the safety and security of the people involved. The photo was taken in May of 2007 near Gulf Breeze FL. at approx. 9:30 PM. Rancher's spouse was supervising their children playing in a tree house near the incident, as she witnessed a disc shaped object that was rapidly descending in their immediate vicinity. Rancher armed himself and ran towards the rear of the property where he witnessed an extremely bright object that had come to rest near the entrance to the cattle pasture. The gate was open and broken loose of its chain. Said object was approx. 10-12 ft. in diameter, dome shaped, and emitted a slight "humming" sound. Rancher states that he felt an "electrical" sensation and was unable to lift his firearm. The children were oblivious to any danger and were strangely calm as they approached closer to the object ( the parents were unaware of the children's proximity to them ). The wife stated she was nearly overcome with fear, but was able to capture this photo via digital camera ( she was taking pictures moments earlier near the tree house ). A small spherical shaped object was seen hovering motionless near the primary object ( immediately to the right of the glowing dome in the photo ). Note that the children appear to be looking directly at this "orb." The family watched the object/s for approx. 2-3 min. and were able to retreat to the safety of their home. Unknown object ascended approx. 10 minutes later and departed at high velocity. The family did not report this incident DIRECTLY to law enforcement for fear of ridicule in the media, loss of privacy, and the possible repercussions associated with exposure. Albeit, this may be the most substantial photographic evidence of a close encounter of the second kind.

I think this is probably one of the best photos of an unlit headlight of a 1964 Dodge Dart I have ever seen.

The composition of that photo is very artistic and dramatic looking, well set up. Yet, we're supposed to believe that's it's not set up. Maybe it just looks good by chance. What's with all the smoke? I also notice that you're new here. I am too. I get the suspicion though that maybe you have some connection to this case, as it's from 2007 and you present it as your second post.

We are not sure what you mean by "original photography." The photo is a FIRST GENERATION original. It is a digital photo, there is no hard copy. Also, it is in JPEG format - so if it were copied many times there could be some loss. But again, this is a first generation photo that was uploaded directly from the host server.

The photo is not a composition or any other art form. It may appear somewhat dramatic, but then again the incident in and of itself is dramatic.

The first post was deleted because of a posting error with the HTML, and the size of the photo was incorrect.

The witnesses described the "smoke" as a type of mist from the heat that the object was giving off. Florida is a very humid sub-tropical state; witnesses described it as being cool but humid outside that particular evening.

We have no connection with this incident.

1964 Dodge Darts do not float in the air... if they did, we would have already purchased one a long time ago. Also, most automobiles have two headlights - not just one of them. Thank you for the humor.

So I'm guessing there is no way to get anything further from the witnesses and photographer. Sort of a dead end, right? Why was only one photo shot rather than a frantic succession of snaps?

It is important to understand that the photo has not been altered, tampered with, added to, deleted from, or manipulated by any means what-so-ever. All are invited to study and examine the photo by whatever means they see fit ( i.e., a forensic or other scientific analysis ).

It is what it is.

No other information will be forthcoming. The witnesses were frightened; the father was slightly immobile, the children were felt to be in danger and the wife was nearly hysterical ( the wife was the photographer - read the description ). To second guess their actions during a time of crisis is unfair.

I have many close encounters and photos just like this.
but the mist from your photo is different compared to those in my photos. no need to panic, most of them are just the naughty life from space. if your story is true. you may look into my story about those thing: http://ufocasebook.conforums.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&num=1216422870

Yep. 50 Anniversary Edition? Mine was dull gold in color, all original except for the chrome road wheels with Moonie caps and the 4 barrel manifold from Chrysler Custom and itty bitty Holley Spread Bore that sat atop it. A friend and I did a filtered dual-inlet air ram using flexible air conditioner ducting that started just behind the grille. 225 Slant Six. I used to eat 1964 and '65 Rustangs, er, Mustangs and there wasn't a Camaro, 'Vette, or police car made in the 80s could get in front of her.

thup thup thup, meep meep

You're welcome. You might have bought mine then, because it flat flew. I don't know what you're seeing, but I'll tell you what I'm seeing, and I'm seeing the headlight housing assembly for a 1964 Dodge Dart tacked to the side of a fencepost. I appreciate the comment regarding levity, but I am also an amateur radio operator and have no sense of humor that I am aware of as a result. I do sort of like the nod towards CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND with the little boy on the left in nearly the same pose as the little boy in the movie right before he was abducted.

"We have no connection with this incident."

Well, if that is so, why do you object to any questions of this photo's veracity?

I don't know why nobody has said anything, but it just looks like a family watching fireworks. Near the ground bright lights and plenty of smoke. On 4th of July week.
