For the past several months, Democrats have based their "Resist 45" movement on unsubstantiated assertions that the Trump campaign coordinated with Russian intelligence officials to undermine the 2016 Presidential Election thereby 'stealing' the White House from Hillary Clinton.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-05-16/murdered-dnc-staffer-seth-rich-shared-44000-emails-wikileaks

Day after day we've all suffered through one anonymously sourced, "shock" story after another from the New York Times and/or The Washington Post with new allegations of the 'wrongdoing'.

But, new evidence surfacing in the Seth Rich murder investigation may just quash the "Russian hacking" conspiracy theory. According to a new report from Fox News, it was former DNC staffer Seth Rich who supplied 44,000 DNC emails to WikiLeaks and not some random Russian cyber terrorist, as we've all been led to believe.

Then, on July 22, just 12 days after Rich was killed...

HMMM...CAN WE SAY...MOTIVE wink

Suppose Trump completes his investigation into the 'millions' of illegal votes that he suspects were cast in the election.

And it turns out that, yes indeed, it did happen.

And they all voted for him.

Admit it guys, he's finished. just a matter of time.

He's off on a trip to hold a meeting with the Saudi government; and representatives from 50+ majority Muslim countries.
Will this include reps from the eight countries on his banned list ?

This is where his anti Muslim rhetoric during the election campaign could really come back to bite him.

Hey HAL,

I am going to sound like a big Pollyanna but I hope he does well because Americans need some improvement in their lives.

It doesn't make one bit of difference to Steven Spielberg if it's Hillary in the White House or Trump. He will still have his lifestyle, power and money.

To us clodhoppers out here in the wilderness it makes a difference if the Gov. lets us do at least a little bit better than we have been doing. I don't know if that makes any sense but America needs a growing economy, stable politics & people doing better financially.

Liberals (and the media) are finally getting the violence they wanted

By Dan Gainor
Published May 17, 2017

Why has the left gotten so violent?

Liberal commentator Noam Chomsky once wrote, “people with power understand exactly one thing: violence.” His alt-left supporters must have been paying attention. As a result, the liberal cold war against the right has escalated from demonization to intimidation, harassment and violence -- with Trump administration officials and members of Congress as prime targets.

You can thank media outlets for escalating the tensions and urging left-wing shock troops to declare war on the right. HuffPost went so far as to encourage harassment of Trump officials and pundits, calling for them to, “be hounded by protestors [sic] everywhere, especially in public.” HuffPost is led by a supposedly respected former New York Times editor Lydia Polgreen.

The left’s insanity has gained momentum from incidents during the campaign and turned into an avalanche of crazy -- less than four months into President Donald Trump’s first term. In that time, we’ve had three riots in Berkeley, Calif., and an inaugural riot so bad that 200 people have been charged with felonies. One of those has already been convicted. So-called “antifa” attacks on Trump events are now common and conservative speakers like Ann Coulter have to cancel events out of a fear of violence. A Portland, Ore., parade was shut down for similar threats against the right. The ironically-named Students for Justice in Palestine just shut down a pro-Israel event at The University of California, Irvine, shouting “f*** you” at attendees.

Now it’s Trump officials and Republican members of Congress at risk.

One Tennessee woman was so upset over media hype about the health care vote that she reportedly, “tried to run Rep. David Kustoff (R-Tenn.) off the road,” according to The Washington Post. (Apparently, no outlet was willing to tell her how bills become law in D.C. as a compromise between House and Senate.)

Rather than just report the attack, left-wing websites rationalized it. Buzzfeed was one of the worst, even helping fundraise for the reported attacker. The story ran under the stalker-friendly headline, “Friends Say Woman Pursued Congressman Because She Thought He Was Ignoring Her.” The story presented the accused as simply someone who “wanted to discuss” the congressman’s vote. The fundraising page Buzzfeed linked to no longer appears on YouCaring.

Jezebel also blamed the victim, explaining that the incident happened, “four days after helping to pass a bill that will leave millions of Americans stranded without access to health insurance.” The site is part of Hillary Clinton funder and Univision CEO Haim Saban’s “news” operation that was included in the Gawker purchase. Slate also tried to rationalize the attack. It led its story by saying, “Feelings are running high over the Obamacare repeal and replace vote.” That’s a rationalization for violence any time anyone is unhappy about politics and that’s every single day.

It’s hard to track all the incidents. There are just too many. Republican Rep. Tom Garrett received a series of threats, according to Politico. One read: "This is how we're going to kill your wife." An out-of-control constituent stuffed a wad of cash into another congressman’s collar at a townhall meeting. Nebraska Republican Jeff Fortenberry had an offensive sign placed on his lawn reading: “Traitors put party above country. Do the right thing for once, s**thead.”

FCC Chairman Ajit Pai has received online threats and numerous obscene or racist comments following comedian John Oliver’s “Go FCC Yourself” campaign. One wished, in the non-obscene section, “I hope you die a horrible painful death.”

This outrage cycle was as predictable as the seasons. Liberals have spent more than a year trying to make Trump look like a “lunatic” combination of Hitler, Stalin and Pol Pot. They, and journalists, have so incensed the left’s supporters that now they, too, have lost their minds.

The left’s dementia has evolved from the talentless song, F*** Donald Trump, and fantasies about “blowing up the White House,” or shooting that “motherf***er.” That was relatively tame by comparison to where we are today.

In just the last few days, Democrat Rep. John Lewis used a commencement speech to urge Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts graduates to “get in the way, get in trouble.” Listicle site Buzzfeed’s staffers joked on internal social media that,“Maybe someone will assassinate him,” meaning Trump. But an old reliable went even farther. GQ’s shock monkey Keith Olbermann even urged foreign intelligence agencies to target Trump because somehow America has become victim of a “coup.”

If you tell readers and viewers often enough that Trump is another Hitler and he’s pulled off a coup, you are encouraging the unhinged to violence. It’s long past time for journalists to pretend once more that they are neutral and stop trying to boost careers and lefty causes by taking down the Trump presidency.

But there’s not a chance in h*** they will change -- except to get worse.

Christian Porter launches probe into taxpayer funding of UFO group

By political reporter Henry Belot
18 May 2017

Social Services Minister Christian Porter has launched an urgent probe to determine how a UFO group received thousands of dollars in taxpayers' funds.

Mr Porter said he was unaware his department had approved nearly $6,000 of grants for the Tuggerah Lakes UFO Group on the New South Wales central coast since 2013.

The funding, exposed by News Corp and confirmed by the ABC, was first provided by the Labor government to assist with the cost of transporting volunteers with a disability.

Mr Porter, who is an avid Star Wars fan, is reportedly in disbelief about how public servants could ever approve the funding.

"The Minister is somewhat surprised at the nature of this particular volunteer group being funded through this grant program," Mr Porter's spokeswoman told the ABC.

" … He has instructed his department to hold the transmission of funds pending a re-examination of the application by the department.

"The decisions about the volunteer grants are made internally by the Department of Social Services.

"One of the criteria is whether they engage people with disadvantages."

Official records show the department approved $2,645 for the UFO group in this year's volunteer grant program.

The group received $2,994 in 2013.

The Tuggerah Lakes UFO Group has 822 members on Facebook and was created to "share news, information, support friends and network in UFO matters as well as related topics".

The ABC has tried to make contact with the UFO group.

FBI investigating gunfight between Border Patrol agents, driver near Tombstone

by Rafael Carranza
The Republic | azcentral.com
Published 2:14 p.m. MT May 18, 2017

The FBI is investigating a shootout between two Border Patrol agents and a motorist Wednesday at a checkpoint north of Tombstone.

The motorist, identified as Gary Smith, 76, of Tombstone, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Following standard policy, the two Border Patrol agents were placed on administrative leave while the investigation is conducted, according to Felix Chavez, the Border Patrol's acting chief patrol agent for the Tucson sector.

Chavez, at a news conference Thursday, said Smith was driving north on State Route 80 in a 2008 black Dodge Dakota when he barreled into the checkpoint. The checkpoint, at the intersection of state routes 80 and 82, had closed temporarily because of high winds.

"The driver and sole occupant began shooting out of the window at agents working at the checkpoint," Chavez said. "The agents, fearing for their lives, immediately returned fire, striking the driver once in the upper left arm, stopping the assault."

After treating Smith at the scene, paramedics transported him via helicopter to a Tucson hospital, where he remained in custody and recovering from non-life-threatening injuries, Chavez said.

Chavez said he had not been briefed on whether words were exchanged between the agents and Smith before Smith opened fire, or if there was any motive behind the shooting.

"We can confirm there were two weapons that the suspect had in his possession," Chavez said.

A spokeswoman for the FBI said agents responded Wednesday afternoon, but declined to provide additional details.

The FBI said, in investigating the incident, it would work with the Tombstone Marshal's Office, Cochise County Sheriff's Office and Customs and Border Protection's Office of Professional Responsibility, which oversees agents' compliance and conduct.

Since Oct. 1, the number of assaults on Border Patrol agents nationwide has more than doubled compared to the same time last year, according to CBP statistics.

At the same time, use of force cases have also increased slightly, including at least 10 instances in which agents used their firearms.

Another Airline Passenger Incident!

User Image
Sniffer

A man had just settled in his seat next to the window on the plane when another man sat down in the aisle seat and put his black Labrador Retriever in the middle seat next to the man. The first man looked very quizzically at the dog and asked why the dog was allowed on the plane.

The second man explained that he was from the Police Drugs Enforcement Agency and that the dog was a ‘sniffing dog’. ‘His name is Sniffer and he's the best there is. I’ll show you once we get airborne, when I put him to work.’ The plane took off, and once it has leveled out, the Policeman said, ‘Watch this.' He told Sniffer to 'search’.

Sniffer jumped down, walked along the aisle, and finally sat very purposefully next to a woman for several seconds. Sniffer then returned to his seat and put one paw on the policeman’s arm. The Policeman said, ‘Good boy’, and he turned to the man and said, ' One paw means that woman is in possession of marijuana, I'm making a note of her seat number and the authorities will apprehend her when we land. 'Gee, that's pretty good,'replied the first man.

Once again, the Policeman sent Sniffer to search the aisles. The Lab sniffed about, sat down beside a man for a few seconds, returned to its seat, and this time he placed two paws on the agent’s arm. The Policeman said, ‘Two paws mean that man is carrying cocaine, so again, I’m making a note of his seat number for the police.’ 'I like it!' said his seat mate.

The Policeman then told Sniffer to ‘search' again. Sniffer walked up and down the aisles for a little while, sat down for a moment, and then came racing back to the agent, jumped into the middle seat and proceeded to crap on the seat. The first man was really disgusted by this behavior and couldn’t figure out how or why a well-trained dog would behave like that. So he asked the Policeman, 'What's going on?’

The Policeman nervously replied, ‘Well he's just found a bomb!'

Happy Birthday! The Original Gerber Baby Turns 90!

05/19/2017

User Image

She was only 4 months old when her likeness was captured in a simple sketch that has since become familiar to generations. Now the original Gerber Baby is turning 90 years old!

It was in 1927 that Dorothy Hope Smith sketched a rough charcoal portrait of Ann Taylor Cook, the infant daughter of a family friend. The following year, when the baby food brand launched a contest to find an official face for their company, Smith entered her simple, unfinished drawing.

With the entry Smith included a note saying that if it were chosen, she would finish the sketch. But when the contest judges chose it as the winner, they decided they liked it just as it was.

Indeed, the drawing adorns a flag at the company headquarters in Fremont, Michigan, and is etched in stone near the main entrance to the building.

Gerber kept Mrs Cook’s identity a secret until 1978, allowing myths to circulate that the sketch depicted Humphrey Bogart as a baby, or Elizabeth Taylor.

The rest is history. Smith’s simple sketch of Ann Taylor Cook’s cherubic face became so synonymous with the Gerber brand that by 1931, it became their official trademark.
