For those who do not subscribe to the apocalypse theories.....

DON'T FORGET: ECLIPSE OF THE MOON SUNDAY NIGHT!

It happens to be the closest supermoon of 2015. It’s the Northern Hemisphere’s Harvest Moon, or full moon nearest the September equinox. This September full moon is also called a Blood Moon, because it presents the fourth and final eclipse of a lunar tetrad: four straight total eclipses of the moon, spaced at six lunar months (full moons) apart.

Eastern Daylight Time (September 27, 2015)
Partial umbral eclipse begins: 9:07 p.m. EDT on September 27
Total eclipse begins: 10:11 p.m. EDT
Greatest eclipse: 10:47 p.m. EDT
Total eclipse ends: 11:23 p.m. EDT
Partial eclipse ends: 12:27 a.m. EDT on September 28

Hi Folks -

Here in [near] Dallas, Texas... the moon is eclipsy! grin

Dark red on the top, barely, dark black from left to center and bright white on the right edge.

Upon a better view, it is not dark black but more a hazy darker red, brighter red at the top, and white on the right... I was looking through a window with a black screen tongue

Hi Folks -

It really is a blood red moon now! smiley

It is darker on the top/right, but I can still see the whole moon, the rest is red/orange!

Really cool!

The ancients would be freaking out for sure... even I am taken back a little, but hey, I am one who believes this is all God's creation, and works the heavens to His will and also gives us signs in this manner. You could label me primitive in thinking for this, but that is ok smiley

Hi Folks -

Ok I think I get it now... the darkish red was the eclipse... not that it was all blacked out, like 'normal'... I guess. undecided

The moon is right now very bright white on the bottom and darker red on the upper part. The light is so bright right now that there are four 'rays' of light in a cross form pattern, I mean it is really beaming! smiley
