FORUM SEARCH ENGINE
Post by oljack666 on Aug 23rd, 2007, 1:51pm

If you follow my instructions in yellow, you'll find that the search works great. If you're on dial-up, reduce the days from 1500 to 120 and the items to be searched from 200 to 50. Try it my way first since even dial-up is quite successful unless you lack memory.

Hi - I'm probably overlooking something obvious, but is there an easy way to get a list of new posts? Or posts since my last visit?

Thanks!

Hi Heyrolled and welcome to UFO Casebook. Somebody else may well correct me on this but as far as I know, the only feature showing latest posts is in the Forum Statistics which you'll find down at the bottom of the forum index page, but it only shows the 10 latest posts when you click on it.

As for searching the forum (or any website for that matter) I find the best way to do that is with an advanced search in Google. Enter your search term in the field at the top, then the website you wish to search in the field at the bottom (in this case, http://ufocasebook.conforums.com )

Using that method you can usually find exactly which thread you're looking for, no matter how old it is, pretty quickly - even if you can't remember the exact title of the thread, or which section it is contained in but can only remember its subject matter.

Hi Heyrolled,

Click on the Search button it is the second option along the menu (just under the main picture).

Leave the search query blank.

Scroll to bottom of same page and change the show value to either *25* or *50* and that should do it!

Cheers. smiley

Tim,

Just follow DrDil's instructions. It can't get any easier.

I'll reiterate.

1) Click on 'search'
2) Scroll to bottom of page.
3) Change the '10' to 25 or 50
4) Click on 'search' (below the number you just changed).

You don't even need to log-in to search.

I'm trying to find the post about those rings/circles in the sky/space. The rings were multicoloured, does anyone know where I can find it?

is this a flatbase DB or relational DB(preferred for my purposes)
Is there any way to get members who have left, but posts still on . It would be nice to click on white colored names that say guest and bring up a profile and then we get their posts. Tons of useful information could be obtained then.. Thank you.

A long time ago (very long time) there were some co-ordinate given for a rather interesting area of Outer Mongolia.

A huge sort of grid.

Can anyone remember where these co-ordinates were posted ?

I have no success with the search function on this site.

I kinda know what you say,
but see it in a different way,
win 10 is on this machine,
win 7 is on my lap top, "music machine"
10 most recent posts, are for sure
anomalis or censored
the one that seems to work best, is,
click a member then click last 10 posts.

Reminds me (for whatever reason, perhaps in error, HAL) of the accounts/myths concerning Uliuiu Cherkechekh (= Valley of Death), northwestern Yakutia - Siberia.

MOKSHA,

That only works if you know who posted the item. It is so long ago I have no idea who was into it, apart from myself.

Thelmadonna,

Thanks, that looks like it may be the thing I was looking at.

I recall doing a lot of low level snooping in this area. I even followed a power line for about a hundred miles to see where it went to. It is very strange. I intend to revisit it in the future.

i don't recall anyone ever coming to any conclusion as to what it is.

Sys,

Thanks for that.

I have to say that I disagree with just about everything said in the accompanying text.

The bottom things were once thought to be a mock up street map of some American city. maybe to be used for guided missile calibration.

But it is the top pictures that are of interest.

The second one down particularly; the one that looks a bit like an electric fire element.

When you measure them, they are huge.

You will notice that the lines are precisely separated. They do not follow the contour of the land; which is quite hilly. In fact they appear to be suspended somehow above the surface,
You can't get down close enough while retaining good definition to see how this is done.

I suspected some kind of Antenna. But a close look shows some kind of objects either on or close to the 'cables' or tracks.

Whatever they are they are very odd.

i believe at one time they parked jets at center to see if they could be detected..and were experimenting was of beating surveillance..others noted that orange blocks once together were found later miles apart..some think Haarp..but I doubt as their space launch base is notfar fom there but they mayhave more than one use for the area.
here is what our no longer used test patterns look like..
