I don't know what this was. But it was in the air and as it was not identified by me I guess it counts as a ufo.

Today, (Sunday 13 July 2014) Time 15:22 UK local.

Location of sighting.

My back garden. (Keighley West Yorkshire, UK)

From where I sit at my garden table I have a view down a valley to a hill approximately 5 mile away and to the North East. Just over this hill is Leeds/Bradford airport.
Depending upon the wind direction, the approach for Leeds passes above my house. The planes then disappear due to the house and re appear a couple of minutes later in the distance on their final approach to the airport. They then descend below the distant hill in almost exactly the same place.
On many occasions we see the plans appear from behind the hill as the depart Leeds, They then pass over us just to the East of the house.
So we are well used to the comings and goings related to the airport.

Today I was relaxing in the garden. I always take my binoculars out and place them on the table, just in case.
So, I was sat there and had noticed a few planes arriving and departing Leeds when I noticed a flashing light coming from the direction of the Airport. This light appeared to be the top part of a dense black ball.
The ball was quite small at that distance. About one fifth the size of an aeroplane. The flashing was very much like you see when someone is rotating a mirror. Very intense. It was continuous. At that distance, maybe five mile, it was hard to see what the object was, only that it was a very dense black. Now, most planes are generally white with a variety of paint jobs. This did not look anything like a plane.
It appeared to be approaching my location and rising quickly at the same time. It disappeared into the cloud without forming any known shape.
At it's point of loss it still looked just like a black sphere, the upper part of which was this fast flashing 'light'.
It definitely wasn't a strobe light.

So, there you have it.

No idea what it was.

Hal, I have always said that the unusual or paranormal always happens when you least expect it.

You just have to take it for what it is and not read too much into it. Yes, I saw it, it was real, and I am not having a bad dream.

Orbs and UFO's have favorite things, and commercial airports is one of them.

This reminds me of a silver orb sitting over a very busy intersection at Interstate 65 and Highway 96 in Franklin, Tennessee.

I said to myself surely these thousands of people must notice this ?

To my surprise a long time later, it was caught on Google Map.

This was real proof of a real UFO !

This was just one of my many UFO experiences over the years.
