Is There an Underwater UFO Base Off the Southern California Coast?
by Preston Dennett FATE :: February 2006
"Shortly after I began investigating UFOs in the late 1980s, I started to receive reports of unidentified ocean-going craft. Most of these reports came from a certain stretch of California coastline, from about Santa Barbara south to Long Beach."

We had a discussion going on this in the uso discussion thread. It is very interesting to read that story.
I think someone sent the area to Sam to check on google earth. At least I think someone asked him to.

That's an interesting picture - certainly looks like something weird, that shouldn't be there in the water.

I just read what EarthDog related in the thread "Chased and captured by a UFO" under "World-wide Alien Encounters" and he talks about UFOs emerging from the ocean off the Southern Californian coast. Seems like we're talking about the same thing here.
Very interesting.

Hey everyone the above mentioned EarthDog here, Wow that is very interesting that Preston Dennet believes that there my be a underwater USO/UFO base of the coast here in light of my own very strange encounter. I would really like to read his article but the link seems to be down.
I am also not seeing Sam picture. Is there something wrong on my end?

The Fate Magazine address url is good now. They probably changed the address. As far as Sam's picture goes, it's there but I don't know what it is and he's on vacation right now.

Hi guys , quick responce! I actually did a google and found the article. Man that is really weird to read all that evidence that basically relates to my own experience! I hate to think that during our missing time we might have been in an underwater UFO base !!!! Exciting and frightening at the same time. Thanks guys.
The picture seems to be my monitor is to dark even though the setting is as brights as it will go. I copied the picture and than lightened it .Weird ,if that thing is a common although unknown underwater sea vessel then we really know nothing about our oceans.

U.S. Navy facility on San Nicholas Island. Been known for years. Sort of an off-shore Area 51. Portions of the island are used for bombing practice, and that is the official cover story as to why the island and surrounding waters are closed to the public. Some experimental naval aircraft, undersea missiles, hybrid torpedo-missiles, etc, are occasionally tested there. Rumors of underwater sub pens for the secret fleet of Navy espionage subs.
Civilian pilots sometimes report seeing strange objects traveling under water at high speeds. It's just our own military testing the latest high-tech toys.

I going to have to strongly disagree w/ the above statement due to my own experiences & after spending many many months investigating the USO's/UFO's sightings around the globe . Anyone interested in reading a well researched and documented study of this world wide phenomenon should invest $ 11.53 in Ivan T. Sanderson's "Invisible Residents: The Reality of Underwater UFOs" A very informative book well worth the read .Ivan T. Sanderson was a British Military Intelligence Officer during WWII who became interested in UFO's after viewing top secret paper work on the subject matter.
